installation / video
2013
0.05RPM is a mixed media installation and consits of a video (12`10), an artefakt (microphone) and a vinyl record.
the installation deals with terms of field recording and concrete sounds.
while the viennese ringstraße gets transfered into a record, the physical world, with all its structures, is used as a sound storage medium.
the destructed microphone documents the performance as an artefakt within the installation, as well as a vinyl record, that uses the viennese city map as a sound source.
